Of course! We gladly give new customers a tour of our grooming salon to show them where their furry friends will be receiving their bath or groom. Our salon is uniquely structured to meet strict safety conditions and procedures. Additionally our 1-on-1 dog grooming approach allows your dog to receive an anxiety and stress free experience by being serviced by one groomer.
Every pup is unique, and their grooming needs may vary. Therefore, we recommend allowing 2-4 hours for grooming appointments to accommodate any individual requirements.
De-shedding is often misunderstood as a grooming service. Unlike a haircut, de-shedding does not involve running scissors or clippers through the body. Instead, it's a meticulous process of thoroughly brushing out your dog's undercoat, reducing shedding by removing loose fur that accumulates due to seasonal changes. While it may take a bit longer than a regular bath, de-shedding does not involve altering the length of your pet's coat.
A nail trim involves regular clipping of your dog's nails, leaving them short but sharp. On the other hand, nail grinding, also known as nail buffing, results in very short and rounded nails, leaving them smooth to the touch. We recommend nail grinding for a smoother finish and enhanced comfort for your pup.
Bathing your dog with mats can pose several risks. Not only does it make the mats ten times tighter to the skin, making it harder for us to brush or shave them off, but it can also lead to discomfort for your pet and increase the likelihood of hot spots. Additionally, tightly matted fur can restrict blood flow, potentially causing serious injuries. We advise against bathing dogs with mats to ensure the safety and well-being of your furry friend.
We kindly ask that all pups have up-to-date vaccinations for the safety of our groomers. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dogs without current vaccinations. Please ensure your pet is vaccinated before booking grooming services. Thank you for understanding.
